You have heard of Droga 5 right? Well you should have. Well established in the USA, when they opened their UK office they needed time to get the right team in place - we acted as their accounts team when they needed one.
Droga5 were looking to expand into Europe to further their ambition of becoming the world’s leading agency, using London as their epicentre. However, although they had clients and creatives lined up, they needed time to get the right people in their accounts team. WardWilliams Creative were brought in to manage the accounts process whilst they built up business and found a more permanent team.
We helped incorporate and set up PAYE and VAT schemes, all company secretary work and registered office services. We acted as the finance team for the business, offering remote bookkeeping services on a day to day basis, including running the payroll services, submitting VAT returns, producing annual accounts and helping to put together the necessary financial reports for the CEO.
As Droga5 grew their needs changed and we were able to adapt to those needs. We provided a member of staff to work on the client premises on a 2 day per week basis working alongside the CFO implementing financial processes, including establishing an expenses policy, financial flow charts for efficient processes as well as training other internal staff members on how to use the accounts software. This additional support enabled Droga5 to save money on the full time hire of other financial staff members whilst growing and setting up robust internal processes.
